As a send-off from me as this will be my last blog post; I have compiled a list of some of my advice that has carried me through this year and so far in my life;
Sleep is overrated, you’ll have plenty of off time to catch up sleep.
You will have doubts, just never doubt yourself and decisions you have made.
Never response to someone when you are angry or overly excited. Take a day at least to compose yourself. You won’t regret your response then.
Get your email and work on your phone. You will be surprised when you are called upon for information and having it at your fingertips helps.
You don’t have to be an expert in a something in order to start a business in that field.
Always be flexible and adaptive.
Always back yourself, because no one else will if you don’t.
Always pay yourself a salary even in a startup.
Don’t get sucked into the corporate world.
Exercise regulatory and eat solid meals.
Eat oranges, they boost your immune system and taste delicious.
Follow your gut always!
Choose to work with people because of their personality not because of their education and skills.
Don’t trust anyone who doesn’t drink.
You will fail, as soon as you realise that and accept it, you will become less scare of failing.
Start small, go big.
Deals will come and go, don’t jump at every one, there will always be more.
The youth are the trend setters, follow them, and understand them.
Always stay up to day with technology. Falling behind it detrimental.
Don’t pursue too many ideas or projects at one time.
Get outside your comfort zone.
Get hands on experience.
Don’t focus on products and services, focus on your customer – the people.
Smack social media.
Never lose sight as to why you started.
Find something to work on more than you care about yourself.
Ask yourself intelligent questions daily.
