Out with the negativity

Something which I have come to realise in the business world is that people take you seriously if you act professionally and have some knowledge of what you are talking about. Often I still feel like that little, unconfident 18 year old kid just leaving matric to go into the big wide world, when in fact five years down the line people have begun to talk my word seriously and actually find value in what I can offer.

If there is a lesson to learn from this it would be this; no matter how small and insignificant you many feel, have confidence knowledge and people will take you seriously. Back yourself to do the correct thing and never doubt yourself. You will have doubts, but do not linger on them when decisions have been made. You will need to keep moving forward.
