"Who run the world? GIRLS GIRLS"

This blog post is dedicated to female entrepreneurs around the world including the incredible female entrepreneurs we have in our course! As we celebrate the women in our lives I thought it would be fitting to celebrate the women in our group. We have come to know the immense value that these four amazing women contribute to the team.

These entrepreneurs are Alexandra van Heerden, Mthuthukile Msibi, Tatenda Mabika and Teegan Page.

Alexandra van Heerden: The go-to-girl and fashionista! Alex is constantly keeping up to date with the most incredible fashion from around the world and her dress sense shows it. This immense fashion knowledge is portrayed through the elegant and beautiful design of our Rain Dear products. Alex keeps the group in contact with some of the most connected and trendy markets and boutique stores, as well as being a beautiful ambassador for our products, constantly wearing them out and about Cape Town’s hottest spots.

Mthuthukile Msibi: There is no doubt of Mthuthu’s incredible fashion sense and the impact that it has had on the development of our products. But Mthuthu’s secret weapon is one that is mostly unseen. Mthuthu is the group’s financial rock. She keeps us in order financially and most of the hard work she does largely goes unnoticed to the public. Mthuthu also never shies about from taking on extra work and is evident of her “goes the extra mile attitude” to life.

Tatenda Mabika: The fire in this woman! Tatenda will never shy away from the hard questions and decisions. She works hard and smart and will always look for a more viable option for something to get done more effectively. Tatenda is a woman with a strong personality and you will do well to stay on her good side for she can be as fierce as a Lioness when she needs to be.

Teegan Page: Teegan is the creative engine of the team! She has drive and passion that will keep her going through the most difficult and stressful times – and we have faced some stressful times as a group! Always on top of things and constantly looking for new innovations and efficiencies for our group to adopt. Without Teegan our social media would be nowhere! This is a testament to her creativity and incredible communication skills.
