As a group we well aware of the pressures that we are facing during this course.
Having to juggle so many different subjects as well as trying to produce a
product and run a business is a more difficult task then it seems. How we have
managed to do this efficiently is something that we are still working on. We love
to delegate as this usually makes our group more productive as we do less
talking and more ‘doing’.
Today we made some brilliant progress with regards to sourcing manufactures
and finding materials to source. It had been a day of good news for Genesis
Group E. Our prototypes from China arrived today which helps us give potential
manufactures a tangible example of what we want to make and achieve. Paul and
Gavin went to Rowdy Rucksacks and they managed to find a potential
manufacturer that could help to produce our raincoats. Gavin also met with a
lady called Carol that works from Diep River. She could also be a potential
person to manufacture our coats.
At the moment we are in the process of finding more options and getting these
potential supplies to produce prototypes as well as quotes.
This process is very time consuming but we need to keep up the momentum and
the energy. The only way we will make sufficient progress is if we all pull our
weight.
