Pick yourself UP!

So it’s the final day before everyone goes on break and forgets about work! For us as a team its crunch time because we are still trying to get sponsors for the next Market Day!! The date is looming nearer much like our many other deadlines, but I can ensure that come 14 April 2014, we will not disappoint!

There are many challenges we have faced. We were that team that was convinced that many of the sponsors that we had in the first cake sale would come running back to us for the second….so in our minds we were mostly covered. Between that point in time and now, what we have learnt is quite simple; s*tars happens. And the same sweet deals that you achieved in the near past aren’t always something to bank on.

So how’s best to handle this? Move on as fast as you can. Literally run forward, because the more you try and rekindle these relations, the more time you waste. The great news is this is an opportunity for us as a team to bring you a bigger and better market day, with bigger and better products! Because a no, makes all the other options an option.
