LA CUCARACHA - THE COCKROACH

So if I were to summarize my day I would say that I am learning to be an ethically conscious, strategic business planning ultra-resilient cockroach with a knack for creating ways in which to market my best attributes...i.e a successful business woman and entrepreneur
Let me explain…
To be a successful entrepreneur I must be able to structure my business strategically so that each aspect is intentionally designed to serve the purpose of the greater vision. In doing so I must question myself at every stage about how ethical my initiatives are, (funny thing is that ethics are often subjective hmmm....). I was blown away by a really effective marketing strategy today (thumbs up to our leading low cost airline who is crazy about the colour green hint hint) and top it all off...I was inspired and taught by the resilience of a cockroach, it’s a survivor and with state of the economy today every entrepreneur needs to learn how to survive ahead of the pack. I was motivated by a business success story we looked at today a group of ordinary (but unique) people like you and me who made it and are still making it. The lessons I will share with you now are only a fraction of what I learnt today (or on any given day in this course) but here goes;
a) Never underestimate or limit yourself, you can do more than you ever imagined…let your views and your ideas evolve
b) Be strategic in who you partner with (Go Go Genesis Group E 2015!!!)
c) And one that will always resonate with me...don't ever give up without giving it 100% first.
I strongly believe that if you are going to try something, make it worthwhile do your best at it, in fact push the boundaries and do more. It’s interesting how this course is teaching me life lessons not only applicable to business. A former PDE student told me that his PDE year was the best in his life so far and just over after a month I believe that will be how I describe the course to my friends next year.
Food for thought for today:
What personal lesson can you take away from the life of a cockroach?
