The TATENDA MABIKA takeover week...

Hi there… My name is Tatenda by way of introduction I want to share with you something that drives me every day.

“Vision without action is merely a dream. Action without vision just passes the time. Vision with action can change the world” – Joel A Barker

This quote has been revolutionary in my life, amazingly enough I have been taught more about vision in the early weeks of this course than ever before. In one of my courses I have learnt about visualising the end and aligning my efforts towards my vision. In another I have had the opportunity to break down my personal vision for the year into objectives and action points, I am truly inspired by the process. So I’d like to formally invite you to my journey to achieving my vision this year and thereafter, I hope to share my lessons with you and just maybe inspire you in some way.

So this is my 5th year at UCT, in my undergraduate I majored in Organisational Psychology, Politics and Business French. In my Honours year I honed in on my passion “Change” I majored in Organisational Psychology specialising in Change Management. On one hand I envision myself as becoming a leading Implementation Consultant (yes it’s a real thing) whilst on the other owning and running an organisation that makes a relevant impact to society so I’m bringing my hands together and we will see what results (watch this space)…I am also Zimbabwean and genuinely proud to be so…for life.
