FLASHBACK of DESIGN INDABA last weekend

What a great way to brainstorm ideas.
This past weekend our group got together at Design Indaba to brainstorm ideas that could be our potential product. Some innovating things are now in the process.
The Design Indaba always encourages young people to start developing entrepreneurial characteristics. Our group also chatted to some of the Nedbank staff on duty about setting up our bank account. They were mainly focusing on students and gave us a good idea on how to go about setting our group account up. We were informed that if we did we could stand a chance to win a car.
We took it apon ourselves to go by "The Lord of the Flies" style where we figuratively turned a water bottle into a conch. This allowed each individual to express their ideas without interuption. From a personal perspective - I thought 'the conch' gave me a sense of importance and identity. It also gave me a good chance to hear everyone elses ideas without other people speaking over one another. I don't think our group needed a conch type of instrument, because we all seem to respect each other a lot, but it was a good way to let one another have a moment to express themselves.
